Painting and collage 3D

For this task we had to apply the skills from the previous task onto a 3D object. I chose a Pringles can because I believed that it could be used as a makeshift flower vase which links to the collage of flowers adorning the side. I did the same thing I did with the other piece which was sticking cut out flowers to the object and then painting over them. The use of negative space in this piece is not as effective as it is in the other piece because of the bright blue colour of the Pringles can. It is still effective however because it does bring attention to the colours of the collage and paint. I think this piece would be more effective if I had manipulated the shape of the object into something more resembling a flower vase. If I had to do this again I would paint the object white beforehand to give a better effect of negative space. I would also vary the shape and size of the collage instead of uniform shapes.
